PRIN ICT (Pty) Ltd (“PRIN ICT”, “we”, “us”) operates this website (voip.prin.co.za) to help South African businesses evaluate and adopt VoIP business communication services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, why, and how it is protected, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
When you use our quote request form, contact form, or WhatsApp link, we may collect: your name, business name, contact number, email address, current phone system details, number of users/extensions, and any message you provide. We also automatically record which page and section of the site a request came from, and which button or link you used, so we can respond appropriately and keep our own service quality data accurate.
Why we collect it

- To maintain records required for billing and service delivery if you become a client
- To understand which parts of this website are actually helping visitors, so we can improve it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the above without asking you first.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to remember basic preferences, and to measure which pages and calls-to-action lead to real enquiries (using tools such as Google Analytics and/or Meta Pixel). These tools may record your general browsing behaviour on this site — pages viewed, buttons clicked — but we do not use them to identify you personally beyond what you voluntarily submit through our forms. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not stop you from browsing the site, but may affect how forms behave.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with: staff and contractors who need it to respond to your enquiry or deliver our service; our accounting/billing provider, for clients who proceed with a service; and analytics providers (Google, Meta) in aggregate/behavioural form as described above. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and quote-request information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of our service relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you that we are not legally required to retain.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to: know what personal information we hold about you; request a copy of it; ask us to correct or delete it, where reasonable and lawful; withdraw consent to processing at any time (this won’t affect processing already lawfully carried out before withdrawal); and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we have handled your information improperly.
